Florence Symphony for the opening of their 50th season

Wisdom Fanfare for Orchestra commissioned by the Board
of Directors of the South Carolina Philharmonic. Premiered
by that orchestra October 1999, as one of the series of
Millennium Fanfares featuring South Carolina composers.
Also performed by the Florence Symphony Orchestra.
Selected for Volume Six of ERMMedia’s compact disc series
“Masterworks of the New Era.” Recorded by the Kiev
Philharmonic February (2005)

Magnificat for Choir, Strings, and Organ, commissioned and
performed by All Saints Episcopal Church choir, Florence,
South Carolina (1999)

The Holy Band – Mystical Songs on the Poetry of Hafiz for
Choir and Orchestra commissioned and performed by the
Masterworks Choir of Florence, South Carolina (2001)

Or Rivers and Trees a song cycle for Tenor, Piano, Violin,
Viola, Cello, and Flute commissioned by the Low Country
Heritage Society and premiered at the College of Charleston
in November, 2001; described as “beautiful and riveting” by
the Charleston Post. It won First Prize for the Miriam Gideon
Award in the International Alliance for Women in Music 2005
Search for New Music composition competition.

Ruins for viola and piano chosen for the Composer’s Concert
at the College Music Society International Conference in
Bangkok, Thailand, 2007. Selected for performance at the
Eighth Festival of Women Composers held at Indiana
University of Pennsylvania (2008)
